The City of Maysville has tentatively adopted a millage rate which will require an increase in property taxes by 0.016 (Banks County) and 41.36% for (Jackson County).
All concerned citizens are invited to the (3) public hearings on this tax increase to be held at the City Hall Building, 4 Homer Street, Maysville, GA on the following dates:
Thursday, September 8, 2016, 7:30 a.m.
Thursday, September 8, 2016, 6:00 p.m.
Friday, September 16, 2016, 7:30 a.m.
The proposed tax increase for a home with a fair market value of $125.000 is approximately: $1.09 for Banks County and $16.61 for Jackson County.
